Prayer, More than a Request

I believe we cannot overstate the importance and breadth of the role of prayer in our life of faith. The Lord wants us to bring all our requests to him, but this is not the only or even the primary purpose for prayer. In this study we’ll look together at a situation from the Gospels where Jesus taught his disciples about the work and importance of prayer.

Prayer is the way we bring all our wants, needs, pains, and desires to the Lord. Prayer is also the way by which we connect with the Lord, prepare for his kingdom’s work, and even the way we conduct his kingdom’s work.
