New Testament Prayer Passages
This resource provides the words from the New Testament that are translated as prayer. Each word is explained, and every passage is listed in which the word is used. If the word occurs more than once in a verse, I include the number of times the word appears. The words used to describe prayer range from a general conversation with God with no emotion implied, to words that refer to asking for something for ourselves or someone else with urgency and passion. The last section of this resources includes a list of the passages where prayers are recorded in the New Testament.
