Scott here. I find that studying to prepare to teach helps me grow as I follow Jesus. Learning, fine-tuning my thinking and practice, and sharing with others excites me. I’ll study and prepare to teach, even if I do not have anything scheduled. I tend to only share when I am in a teaching setting, but some friends encouraged me to share content more broadly. At their prompting, and after seeking other counsel, I decided to share studies and resources through a website.<\/p>\n
I love meeting with friends to all about life, desires, plans, and career. Such meetings often take place at a coffee shop, hopefully, one with good pastries. I find that most of what I study and teach first applies to me, and then the Lord graciously permits me to share some of what I have learned with others. So, as I write I am often drinking hot tea or coffee, but I don’t always have a pastry.<\/p>\n
