We’ve said that we were created to partner with God in his work, but what does that look like? We’ll dive into that today.

Jesus refuses to be tied down to a to-do list when telling us what abundant life looks like. Jesus speaks in broad terms, as do the authors of the New Testament. It isn’t that this partnering with God life is fuzzy. The reality is that it encompasses everything. It isn’t a part of life. It is life.

Most every description we find of what a life of partnering with God looks like are big picture descriptions. From these we learn the Lord’s overall work and purpose. These describe the work he is doing in us as well as the work he intends to accomplish through us.

If an activity or plan fits in with these passages, then this is a way to partner with God.

We best partner with God by realizing he is with us always, understanding his work, seeking him to accomplish his transforming work in us, and then seeking to express this same work in each moment of life.
