The entire book of Hebrews is rich with reasons why Jesus came. In our why Jesus came series we’ll look at Hebrews 2:8-18 today.
Jesus came to bring us every blessing God has available. All that we need for real life is available in Jesus.
At the start of his letter to the Christians in Ephesus, Paul praises the Lord for his great work. His great work is to complete all things in Jesus.
In these few verses we learn that God established his plan to bring his blessings to us, and to save us even before he said let there be light. From before the start of time God planned that salvation would come through Jesus.
Paul says this is to the praise of the Lord’s glorious grace. Here is a link to a document listing all the New Testament passages where the words for grace are used. http://saschade.com/?project=new-testament-grace-passages
